On Tuesday March 12th, a representative from ASUS demonstrate some of their new products.

Tuesday will also be our second Tech Topic meeting. We will be discussing current technology trends and innovations. Come prepared to learn and discuss. As usual, there will be pizza and drinks.

In this workshop, you’ll be able to easily build your own app, thanks to the latest tools from Microsoft Research named Touch Develop. No need to be a hardcore programmer to achieve this. Anyone who is familiar with programming will be able to create an app in 4 hours and submit it to the Windows Store!

On Tuesday February 26th, Jay Rogers, co-founder of 521 Dimensions, will be leading a workshop on Linux servers. Come learn about the basics to implementing and managing an Ubuntu server.

Resources Needed

Prior to the workshop, students should download and install VirtualBox, and download the Ubuntu Server image.
